Handwritten report [18 p.], ca. 1920 (?), about Mount Pleasant (Mich.) with maps, postcards, some colored, of Central Michigan University (CMU) and Mount Pleasant buildings, including: Borden's Milk Factory, Harris Milling Co., Columbia Sugar Co., the Post Office, the U. S. Indian School, and the corner at Broadway and Normal (now University) Ave. The covers are made from construction paper. The front cover has a design of art deco-style lotus flowers and "Mt. Pleasant" pasted onto the cover in blue paper. The report is attached with a blue cord. A note on page 2 reads "This book was sent to me July 1964 by Golden Coleman of 322 N. Williams, Ludington, Mich. She was not sure of the date. It was a thesis by a Normal Student of long ago-a Rachel Sugars. You can see by the pictures that it is old. Very interesting. Mrs. Frank (Laura A.) Robinson."

A woman named Ray Sugars served as the fifth grade critic for the then Central State Teachers College, (CSTC, now CMU) Training School, 1928-1929. Under her photograph it notes that she earned her A.B. from CSTC and an A.M. from Columbia. Frank E. Robinson was a professor at CMU, 1916-1948. He retired as the head of the Dept. of Commerce.
